Professional shoes can be worn anywhere where safety shoes are not required. In contrast to safety shoes, for example, they provide no toe protections. Among the basic requirements damp-resistance, optimum foot stability and anti-slip soles in accordance with SRA, SRB or SRC/SR.
Professional shoes equipped with the basis requirements belong to the OB safety level. The heel area may be open.
Class O1 professional shoes must have a closed heel. Anti-static properties and energy absorption capacity in the heel area are obligatory. If the shoes are water-resistant for at least 60 minutes, they belong in safety class O2.
