Some of our products are packed in plastic bags, known as polybags, to protect them from moisture, dirt and damage on their journey from production to our customers. This ensures that the goods arrive in perfect condition. We are aware that the use of packaging always involves the consumption of resources. That is why we are gradually reducing our use of plastic packaging and, as standard, assess whether paper-based alternatives are sufficient for new products. For example, we already dispatch many non-fragile products, such as jeans, using paper sleeves instead of plastic film, and our dispatch bags are made from 100% recycled plastic. In the long term, our aim is to avoid plastic packaging as much as possible without compromising on protection or delivery quality.
